Inclined towards Paixpressionism and universal feelings René is a classically trained contemporary artist who adds Brazilian curves to the New York City Art scene. Each canvas is visual poetry immersed in colorful, vigorous yet wild brush strokes.
Renê Nascimento has been exhibiting in galleries and public spaces in Brazil, United States and Europe for almost 25 years. His work has been mentioned and honored in several art publications and collector’s books like the “The 60 Artists of Minas Gerais”, and “Fine Art, Belo Horizonte 100 Years”.
Rene Nascimento was born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He holds a Fine Arts Degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – School of Fine Arts and studied in renowned art centers like Parque Lage, Rio de Janeiro, FAAP, São Paulo and The Artists League of New York.
