“Behind Narrative” merges a series of works that offer an amazing combination of sophisticated Figurative, Realist, and Mannerist paintings, which incorporate contemporary elements of urban identities of New York City, and video as cinematic narrative structures with cross-cultural elements of Slavic culture onto the cultural tropes of western world. Each individual artist invites the viewer with a degree of curiosity and discernment to explore new visual worlds and its creation.
